Online Counselling – Issues and Considerations

Join Jeff Roberts as he unpacks the issues and considerations that can arise when we deliver clinical services online. One of the results of COVID-19 has been the emergence of online service delivery for clinicians. 

This webinar explores the ethical arguments for and against engagement in online counselling and examines topics including privacy, confidentiality, and security issues, the need for special training, communication issues specific to online delivery and more.

About the presenter

Jeff Roberts is a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years’ experience in counselling, working in a variety of mental health settings in Australia and overseas. Jeff is highly experienced in performing IQ, personality and memory testing. He specialises in men's health, and is also experienced working with the LGBTQI+ community on a range of different issues including depression, anxiety, sexual health and interpersonal issues. Jeff has experience working with the corporate sector, providing coaching, training and leadership development.
